I can hardly believe I’m writing these words: my very first ebook, Mindful Power: 14 Strategies for Everyday Balance, is finally here!
When I started my own mindfulness journey, I was searching for something simple and real, ways to feel more grounded, even on the busiest days. I wanted to share what actually works, not just in theory, but in the messiness of real life. That’s why every strategy in Mindful Power is something I’ve lived and come to cherish.
One of my most cherished practices is journaling. In the book, I talk about how simply sitting down with a notebook and a pen can make such a big difference. Letting my thoughts spill onto the page, no matter if they’re happy, messy, or somewhere in between. There are mornings when I wake up with a jumble of worries or excitement buzzing in my head, and just writing it all out helps me breathe easier. Sometimes I fill pages with dreams and gratitude; other days, I just scribble a few lines about what’s weighing on me. Journaling isn’t about being positive all the time, but about giving yourself space to process whatever is real for you in that moment. Whether I’m celebrating a win or working through something tough, putting it on paper clears my mind and helps me start the day with a little more clarity and self-compassion.
The book is filled with templates and tools like affirmation cards, gratitude journals and a 30-day self care challenge – all because I know how helpful it is to have a little structure when you’re building new habits. But I also remind you (and myself) that there’s no “right” way to practice mindfulness. Your journey is yours. If you’re ready to bring more balance, self-compassion, and joy into your everyday life, I hope you’ll check out Mindful Power. I poured my heart into every page, and I truly believe these strategies can help you, no matter where you are on your journey.
With gratitude,
Chrissy
